OAAS congratulates Rob Black on his appointment to the Senate
Stirling, Ontario, February 26, 2018. The Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies (OAAS) certainly endorses the appointment of Rob Black to the Senate. At the OAAS Annual General Meeting in Toronto on February 17, Vince Brennan, Office Manager, introduced Black to the members as a voice for rural Ontario and a friend of OAAS.
In the last two years Black has assisted the OAAS with its governance changes and with its development of a strategic plan. His knowledge of policy and structure for organizations has been invaluable to the OAAS as it renewed its structure.

Provincial Premises Registry (PPR)
The Provincial Premises Registry (PPR) is the destination for registering parcels of land in Ontario associated with agri-food activities. The PPR is an Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) initiative and the only official provincial registry for obtaining a Premises Identification Number (PID) for Ontario agri-food businesses.
Agri-food business owners and operators, including fairgrounds can register and update their premises in the PPR, online or over the phone, securely, easily and for free.
